Planing boards have become increasingly difficult to source, so I designed this portable, cost-effective board to deliver precise, repeatable results. It brings the cane down to an 8 mm width. The Oboe board is 75 mm long, and EH is 95 mm long. If you’d like a different length, please email me for a custom one. These Boards are manufactured and printed per order with a wait time of 1-2 Weeks.

Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) Tape: Provides an ultra-low-friction surface that lets your planer glide smoothly across the board without resistance.
Edge-Gripping Notch: Anchors securely against the edge of your workbench or desk for maximum stability during the planing process.
